Apple new release : Iphone 5 or Ipad 3 ?
“We have something you really have to see.And touch.”
This is the way Apple invite all media to a major event on the 7th of march,10.00 am,in San Francisco. As we are already used with Apple secretes,no other details are revealed. But we do have a picture, the only clue in the invitation, apparently showing the screen of on iPad,with one finger above the calendar icon, with the date mentioned above. We do believe that is the new iPad 3,so much expected, but we have to wait until 7 march.
As we have a lot of rumors,we will note some of them here and now!
iPad 3 should be the leader of the Apple devices. As per the rumors, one of the feuters of the new new device is “Retina display”,this means a high definition desplay, same as those on iPhone 4/4s.But we need to keep in mind that all have expected the iPad with Retina Display to be released since iPad 2 arrived, but on the launch of iPad 2 we were dissapointed,as this feature was not in the new device.
Another expected feature is that of much better, high resolution camera,or even more than one camera. We do expect that the rear facing camera will be atleast as the one on iPhone 4s,8 megapixels.Actual iPad 2 is not very much used for photography,as the camera is not so great, this being the main reason for Apple planing to upgrade the existing camera.
The next interesting hardware on the new iPad 3 is the processor. What shall we expect?Could be the quad-core design processor or same processor as iPad 2 but with improved Imagination Technologies GPU .

AT&T Smartphone Battle: Apple iPhone 4S vs HTC Vivid

No one can deny that the iPhone 4S is the best iPhone yet. However, it lacks a few features that some consumers may want. For instance, the iPhone 4S does not support 4G LTE networks and sports a relatively small display when compared to rival smartphones. Apple’s newest smartphone faces plenty of competition from other manufacturers and operating systems. For instance, AT&T’s new HTC Vivid features a 4.5-inch qHD display and support the carrier’s young 4G LTE network with speeds up to 10x faster than 3G. Can the iPhone 4S rise above the competition? Let’s compare it with one of AT&T’s 4G LTE phones to find out.

Apple Tuesday announced their Q1 2012 earnings, reporting record revenue and blowout results for nearly every category. Apple finished the quarter with .33 billion in revenue, and net profit of .06 billion. The Company sold 37.04 million iPhones in the period, representing 128 percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter. Other notes from the conference call include:
- 85 million customers are now using iCloud.
- 1.4 million Apple TVs were sold last quarter, though Tim Cook still considers the device a hobby, albeit, one he “couldn’t live without”.
Cook fired off an email to employees following the call, congratulating them on the great start to 2012, and invited everyone to a town hall Thursday where they would review the earnings and talk about new things going on at the company.

Apple Launches ICloud With a Hiccup

Apple’s iOS 5 and iCloud service launch was far from perfect, leaving many customers with a bad first impression.
The Cupertino, Calif.-based company rolled out the update earlier this week, but many users experienced problems during and after the upgrade process. Customers reported trouble syncing their devices after the upgrade, getting locked out of their iCloud e-mail addresses, and overall delays in downloading the OS.
Given the high-profile nature of the iOS 5 update, consumers expected prolonged download times, but glitches in the platform don’t look good for Apple. iOS 5’s number one new feature in the upgrade is compatibility with iCloud, which Apple touted as being an easy-to-use digital storage system.
The company is establishing iCloud to be a large part of its future. The iPhone maker built a massive data center in North Carolina to support the service, and is hoping to make iCloud a key selling point in its ecosystem of devices. Problems with the launch of iCloud are therefore particularly embarrassing for Apple, and recall the company’s botched launch of Mobile Me, its first attempt at a cloud-based service three years ago.
Overwhelming use of Mobile Me crippled the service, which was supposed to link users’ e-mail and contacts on the iPhone and Mac, but the service was useless during its first two weeks of release. Former CEO Steve Jobs admitted the launch was not Apple’s “finest hour,” and put a plan in place to turn the service into something the company could be proud of.
Only time will tell if the initial glitches in the iCloud service repeat the Mobile Me disaster. Either way, the responsibility for managing this issue now falls on new CEO Tim Cook. Whether Cook chooses to address the problem publicly or deal with it in-house, the less-than-stellar launch of iCloud is the first public controversy the new leader has had to deal with without Jobs’ aid.
The problems with iCloud may prove to be a minor issue, but they represent the first speed bump for Apple and its new regime.

» posted on Wednesday, October 5th, 2011 at 5:39 pm by Apple to Release IOS 5 on October 12
Apple will release iOS 5, offering over 200 new features, on October 12, as the company brings some of the biggest selling points of the iPhone 4S to iPhone 4 owners for free. The Cupertino, Calif.-based company’s updated OS features a revamped notification system with a drop-down menu, support for iCloud, Apple’s new cloud based data service and iMessage, a free messaging service that lets users exchange messages for free between iOS devices over Wi-Fi or cell service. Apple’s upgrade also includes smaller features like the ability to access the camera app from the lock screen, take photos using the volume button, tabbed browsing in Safari and the ability to sync wirelessly with a computer for future updates and back-ups. One of iOS 5’s biggest features, the new voice recognition program Siri, can only be accessed on the iPhone 4S. However, outside of Siri, all of the benefits of iOS 5 can be had on the iPhone 4 as well as the 4S. The ability to take advantage of so many new features as part of a free upgrade, rather than having to pay 0 for an all new device, may lead some users to skip the 4S, especially when it looks identical to its predecessor on the outside. Offering iOS 5 for free to existing iPhone users may stop those who don’t feel the A5 processor and upgrades to the camera are substantial enough from purchasing the 4S, but it still has benefits for Apple. In the past, Apple charged customers for major software updates, but a free upgrade stands to build up user bases for iMessage and iCloud. The success of these two services is important to Apple since they may become major selling points of the company’s iOS devices in the future, so creating a strong user foundation may prove pivotal. Apple also stands to generate revenue from some of iOS 5’s features. All users who upgrade to iOS 5 will automatically have access to iCloud. The basic services gives customers five gigabytes of back-up storage for free, but some users will likely purchase more data space, and others will sign up for the -a-year iTunes Match service to store music not purchased through iTunes. The free iOS 5 upgrade may keep some users from making the jump to the 4S, but it demonstrates Apple’s emphasis on the success of software driving its business.
